Our Process

Step 1

Vision

Whether you have a crystal-clear vision for your project or just the spark of an idea, our initial free consultation call is an opportunity to explore the possibilities and craft an inspired design plan tailored to your needs. This is our chance to get to know you and your dreams!

Step 2

Details

After our initial consultation call, we will request additional details and information to gain a comprehensive understanding of your project, budget and site conditions. This could include measurements and dimensions of the space, photos from multiple angles, and information about current furnishings or layouts. Compiling this data with our discussion notes will allow us to fully envision the potential and constraints of the site.

Step 3

Design

Equipped with a rich understanding of your needs, preferences, and the site particulars, our team can then dive into the creative process. We will brainstorm unique design concepts that incorporate the key elements you hope to prioritize for your space. You will be furnished with a free preliminary vision for discussion in our next consultation call.  If you agree with the concept we shall then require a small fee for creating accurate representations of the final project and detailed quotations for budget and time. When we agree on a vision our experts will passionately refine the ideas through hours of sketching, rendering, and visualization, crafting an awe-inspiring design vision tailored to your project.

Step 4

Final Concept

We then share the final concept, cost and time estimates with you and schedule a call to go deeper into the design of each element in order to provide a final offer and timetable for the creation of your project.

Step 5

Planning

Once the design achieves your vision, we move into the project planning phase. Here, we break down the required work into a project plan and identify any additional resources (if needed) to execute the design efficiently and expertly. With experience delivering many visions, we have the capability to scope plans and coordinate teams for realizing your 'Fantasyscape' on schedule and to the highest caliber. The project planning phase ensures your concept becomes reality beautifully and stress-free and that you are aware of all the deadlines and costs associated with each phase of the project.

Step 6

Construction

With the design vision defined and project plan in place, we sign a contract for the project with all details such as payments, deadlines, and quality promised and guaranteed.  We then assemble our team of expert craftsmen and artists to construct your one-of-a-kind Fantasyscape. Masters in landscape, construction, sculptures, special effects and more unite to create your vision, brick by brick and leaf by leaf. What began as imagination takes tangible form.

As our skilled team begins the marvelous build, you will be able to participate and experience every phase of the project and even join in the sculpting and painting of your personal contributions if you so desire

Step 7

Live the Magic!

You now get to enjoy a magical unique functional piece of art that due to its hardy materials will provide low maintenance wonders for everybody to share or envy.  Enjoy!

Nobody will be able to guess how little it costs you!

Frequently Asked Questions

  1.     What is included in the design I will receive for approval?

Following our initial consultation we will draft a concept document which will include a vision for the project (for example, the theme, number and size of sculptures and how they will be positioned). The purpose of the concept document is to develop the ideas discussed in the initial consultation and provide a general idea of the project direction before we develop a 3D model. As such, the concept document is comprised of ttext as well as images which may include basic sketches or  images sourced from the internet. Up until this point there will be no charge to you.

Once we agree on the vision explained in the concept document we will begin creating a customized 3D computer generated design which will be a simulation showing the sculptures we propose to create for you. Depending on the size and scale of the 3D modeling work required, we may require a small fee for the time involved in producing the custom 3D model.

  1.     Will you be using subcontractors?

The Fantasyscaping Team has a diverse field of tradespeople including licensed and qualified carpenters, electricians, hardscape professionals and a civil engineer. Additionally we have over a dozen artists and other specialists who can create the foundations and technical requirements for projects. Depending on the location, size and scale of the project it may be more efficient and cost effective to outsource some aspects of the construction phase of the projects to local specialists. If it is necessary to utilize subcontractors for your project we will supervise them to ensure that the quality of their work is up to the Fantasyscaping standard.

  1.     Will this require Homeowner Association approval?

Fantasyscaping follows all local guidelines and laws depending on the area of installation and construction.  We can furnish design plans, technical specs etc if required by a local homeowner association board.

  1.     Where in the world do you service/build?

We are an international team of artists who come from countries all over the world.  We are based in Peru and due to the fact that we are licensed contractors in the state of California our focus is in the United States. The creation of sculptures and installations can take place in Peru and we can ship them to you for installation. Depending on the size and scale of the project it may require a team of Fantasyscaping personnel to travel to your site for installation and/or to create sculptures on site. We are available to deliver projects anywhere across the globe.

  1.     Is there maintenance involved after the installations are complete?

Depending upon the nature of the installation, whether they include full gardens, water features, fire features, etc, there may be some minimum maintenance required for which we shall furnish a full plan explaining any and all requirements to keep your Fantasyscaping project in optimal shape. Sculptures will be created with concrete which is a resistant and durable material. We will use colorfast and UV resistant paints for sculptures that will be exposed to substantial sunlight.

  1.     Are the installations weatherproof? How do they hold up to the seasons?

All weather requirements will be considered into the project design and plans will be adjusted accordingly depending upon local climate requirements, including shade structures and utilizing weather resistant materials such as UV resistant paints and concrete air entraining additives to prevent cracking resulting from freezing conditions.  Fantasyscaping can be installed in any climate and require very little maintenance.

  1.     Will someone be coming to my house to take measurements or give me an estimate?

During our initial phone consultation we will discuss your ideas/vision and project particulars we will determine whether it is necessary to visit for the purpose of taking measurements. For smaller or standalone sculptures it may not be necessary to undertake a site visit before commencing work. However, for larger and more detailed projects, we can have a team member visit the property to inspect particulars such as measurements.

  1.     Are the installations safe for children?

Absolutely, all Fantasyscaping projects are built with safety as a top priority and as part of the consultation process we will discover any special requirements for children of any age to be able to explore and enjoy any Fantasyscape without safety concern.
