Myztik
Inspired by folklore shared across cultures worldwide, Myztik was built to reimagine and retell the story of the 'little people' and their mythical world. As part of the concept design, Fantasyscaping created an entire mythology representing the earth, water, fire and air people living in harmony, trading and exchanging with each other and celebrating their respective deities. Myztik is another functional sculpture, a genuine Japanese volcanic mineral hot spring pool inside a magical fantasy world, overlooking an enclosed garden hosting “The Gods of Myztik” with individual lore and inventive temples.
With Myztik, Fantasyscaping introduced water management techniques, programmable lighting, an erupting volcano from which flow the waters of the hotsprings, organ pipe singing wind temples, moving sculptures such as windmills, dancing water fountain colorful features, and traveling boats in elevated canals.
With Myztik and the Gods of Myztik projects, Fantasyscaping not only explored all of the arts using sculpting, painting, songwriting, special effects, music, light effects, landscaping and gardening, myth making, and storytelling, but also explored movable and changeable sculptures, computer controlled special effects and actuators and many other technologies that were incorporated into the project.
Myztik captivates the senses through fire, water, wind and earth effects creating an unparalleled sensual and joyful place to soak in wonder. In this project, Fantasyscaping connects imagination and relaxation for a rejuvenating experience like no other.
